Audio-Visual Workshops “Color and Sound” and Opening of a Children’s Exhibition

31 May – 10:00–12:00 / 16:00–18:00
Palace of Children
Facilitators: Ina Valentinova and Boyan Avramov

As part of the Contemporary Art Festival at the Palace of Children, audio-visual workshops “Color and Sound” will take place, led by Ina Valentinova and Boyan Avramov. The workshops create a creative space where children can explore the relationship between visual imagery and sound sensations through hands-on and playful approaches.

The main focus of the activities is free expression, experimentation, and the creation of personal artistic interpretations in which sound and color become mutually complementary elements of a shared sensory experience. Participants will work with different materials and techniques that encourage imagination, sensory awareness, and teamwork.

The workshops are aimed at children and young people and do not require any prior experience – only curiosity and a desire for creative participation.

The results of this creative process will be presented on 1 June at 18:00 at the Palace of Children, when the opening of the children’s exhibition “Color and Sound” will take place. The exhibition features works created by the participants during the workshops, exploring the interaction between visual art and sound perception.

The exhibition offers a glimpse into children’s imagination and the way sound can be “seen” and color can be “heard” through diverse artistic interpretations. The event marks the conclusion of the process and presents the outcomes of the collective work within the workshops.
