SEVENTH INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL “THE ART OF MINIATURE” RUSE

2019, Ruse, Bulgaria

Realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Ruse.

Organizers of the event are the Municipality of Ruse, Art Gallery – Ruse, Union of Bulgarian Artists, Society of Ruse Artists. 188 artists from Bulgaria, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, India, Spain, Canada, Cyprus, Korea, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, and Turkey sent their works to participate in the competition. On October 2, 2019, a jury chaired by Bojidar Plazinic, Serbia – artist, curator; Irena Petrova – Director, Culture and Education Directorate; Ivan Velchev – representative of SBH; Branko Nikolov – artist and Elena Velikova – director of HG – Ruse, selected the works and announced the winners in the categories of painting, graphics, drawing, sculpture and photography, as well as the winner of the Grand Prize of the Municipality of Ruse. According to the regulations of the competition, additional prizes are provided by public organizations and sponsors.
