Press Conference Presenting the Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2026

On May 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM, a press conference will be held at the Art Gallery – Ruse ahead of the official opening of the Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2026.

During the event, the main highlights of the programme will be presented, along with the participants in this year’s edition. The festival organisers will take part in the press conference, together with Bulgarian and international artists.

Media representatives will have the opportunity to speak with the participants, receive additional information about the projects and venues, as well as capture footage and conduct interviews ahead of the official launch.

The Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2026 will take place from May 16 to June 15, 2026, encompassing various spaces across Ruse and the region, and will feature exhibitions, performances, and interventions in the urban environment.

The festival is realised with the financial support of the National Culture Fund under the “Creation and Distribution – Large Projects” programme.
