Opening of the exhibition of the TENTH INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL “THE ART OF MINIATURE” – RUSE 2025

This year’s anniversary edition of the International Biennial “The Art of Miniature” brings together the “trends” of world art in Ruse. Under the motto “flux,” 645 works by 294 authors from 28 countries will be presented.

The selected works in the categories of painting, graphics, drawing, sculpture, and new media/photography will be exhibited in the halls of the Art Gallery – Ruse. The following awards will be presented at the official opening:

The Grand Prize of the Municipality of Ruse

Five equal prizes in the categories: painting, graphic art, drawing, sculpture, photography/new media

Awards from cultural institutions and sponsors

The audience award, determined by a vote on the opening day.

The International Biennial “The Art of Miniature” is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Ruse Municipality. The organizers are Ruse Municipality, Art Gallery – Ruse, and the Union of Bulgarian Artists. The forum is of particular importance and prestige for the cultural life of the city and is one of the most significant events for the visual arts in Bulgaria.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until December 28, 2025, in the halls of the Art Gallery – Ruse.
