Art Gallery – Ruse
Svazha Dacheva – poet, prose writer, and scholar whose creative path unfolds between Bulgaria and Sweden – will meet the Ruse audience to present her latest book, Ritual for Opening the Heart.
The book follows the trajectory of an inward journey. The texts are concise, distilled, and often meditative. Rather than relying on a conventional narrative plot, the author turns to reflection and personal testimony. Biographical moments – childhood, travels, dreams, encounters – appear not as autobiography for its own sake, but as starting points for deeper insight.
Within these pages, lived experience and imagination coexist on equal terms. The personal becomes universal, and the intimate opens into a space of recognition. The book approaches human choice as a continuous process: each event carries the potential for growth or retreat.
The event in Ruse is an invitation to the literary community and to readers interested in contemporary forms of autobiographical writing, where the boundaries between document and fiction remain open.
The audience will have the opportunity to hear the author and take part in a discussion.
Free admission.
