One Degree from the Ecliptic” – Exhibition by Grisha Kubratov at the Art Gallery – Ruse

alt="Картина със символи – Гриша Кубратов"
THE AGE-OLD ARTIST "ONE DEGREE FROM THE ECLIPTIC" TURNED RUSE INTO A FAIRYTALE SPACE WITH HIS NEW EXHIBITION The exhibition "One Degree from the Ecliptic" is the "debut" of Grisha Kubratov at the Art Gallery - Ruse and represents a kind of journey into the space between abstraction and symbolism. The title, inspired by the astronomical term "ecliptic", symbolizes the path of the Sun across the sky. One degree of this orbit - equal to 72 years - is perceived as human life, a moment inscribed in the cosmic rhythm. Archetypal symbols of snakes, birds, trees, spirals come to life in Kubratov's canvases, which are not just decorative elements, but keys to questions about energy, the soul and the constant transformation of existence. His compositions, built from geometric rhythm and a rich, iconographic color palette, suggest a sense of movement, deep immersion and eternity. The works do not follow a linear narrative, but reveal a cycle in which each repetition brings new significance and new revelation. Although he has had numerous solo exhibitions in different cities, this is Kubratov's first solo presentation at the Art Gallery - Ruse. "One Degree of the Ecliptic" is an invitation to contemplation and inner experience, where each form and each repeated encounter with the work becomes a personal fragment that resonates in eternity.
