Ruse Art Gallery
On May 23, the Ruse Art Gallery joins Night of Museums and Galleries 2026 with a special program as part of the Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2026, realized with the financial support of the National Culture Fund.
The program brings together exhibitions, video art, artistic interventions in urban space, talks, and educational events featuring Bulgarian and international artists.
2:00 PM | Workshop
“Space, Light, and Metaphor in Miniature Worlds”
Led by Lea Vidakovic (Croatia/Portugal)
The workshop introduces participants to the processes of constructing miniature scenographic spaces, where light, detail, and composition create visual metaphors. The artist works in the field of animation, exploring memory, personal narratives, and visual storytelling.
7:00 PM | Talk-Lecture
“Beyond Errors”
With Stanka Tsonkova – Usha, Tanya Decheva, and Simeon Stefanov
The talk focuses on error as a creative resource — as part of process, experimentation, and the development of artistic practices.

Canetti House will be open to visitors with a special video selection from the Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2026, featuring works by artists from Bulgaria, Russia, Canada, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Serbia.

As part of the festival, several interventions are presented across different locations in the city:
