Art Gallery – Kazanlak presents a special lecture dedicated to the life and work of the great Bulgarian artist Nenko Balkanski.

The event is part of the new project “Saturday at the Gallery on the Road”, which builds on the successful educational initiative “Saturday at the Gallery”. The lecture will be presented by Katya Hristova, chief curator of the gallery.

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the personal and creative history of Nenko Balkanski – an artist whose paintings tell about the everyday life, loved ones, the studio and the eternal pursuit of inner dialogue through art.

Among the highlights is the painting “Through the Window”, awarded a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition in 1937 and today part of the collection of Art Gallery – Ruse.

The project is implemented with the support of the National Fund “Culture”, program “Distribution’24”.
