Festival of Contemporary Art – Ruse 2025. Programme

 

In June and July 2025 the Art Gallery – Ruse launches its new contemporary art programme with the first edition of the Festival of Contemporary Art – Ruse 2025. For Ruse, a city with a well-established cultural tradition, the festival is a step towards a new artistic dimension and proof that contemporary art has a place and an audience beyond the capital.

With its new initiative, the Art Gallery – Ruse establishes itself as an active centre for contemporary art and cultural innovation. The festival presents innovative formats – from video art and installations to educational events and interdisciplinary practices that connect art with current social issues.

Particularly impressive are the light and sound interventions in the gallery’s basement and video projections on facades that reimagine urban space and engage new audiences.

With a focus on interactivity, access and social engagement, the programme shortens the distance between contemporary art and the public and transforms Ruse into a stage for dialogue without borders.
