Workshop “The Art of Christo and Jeanne-Claude – Closer to Children”

The Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse, 2025 is holding the first of its program’s creative workshops, where children will immerse themselves in the magic of the monumental installations of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The young participants will experiment with different shapes and surfaces, wrapping and transforming objects using surprising materials from everyday life.

During the activity, attention will be paid to the way in which even the most unexpected elements – including some with a characteristic shine and shape – can become a means of artistic expression.

The workshop encourages imagination and reveals to children the idea that art can be born anywhere – even where, in principle, we only see functionality.
