Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2025. Program

In June and July 2025, the Art Gallery – Ruse will launch its new contemporary art program with the first edition of the Contemporary Art Festival – Ruse 2025. For Ruse, a city with a well-established cultural tradition, the festival is a step towards a new artistic dimension and proof that contemporary art has a place and an audience outside the capital.

With its new initiative, the Art Gallery – Ruse is establishing itself as an active center for contemporary art and cultural innovation. The festival presents innovative formats – from video art and installations to educational events and interdisciplinary practices that connect art with current social topics.

Particularly impressive are the light and sound interventions in the gallery’s basements and the video projections on facades that rethink urban space and engage new audiences.

With a focus on interactivity, access and social engagement, the program shortens the distance between contemporary art and the audience and turns Ruse into a scene for dialogue without borders.
