Virginia Pencheva. Menamorphoses of the Landscape
On October 2, at 6:00 p.m., the solo exhibition “Metamorphoses of the Landscape” by Virginia Pencheva will be opened in the Art Gallery – Ruse.
On display are 30 abstract paintings created especially for the current exhibition. The themes revolve suround spaces that form an environment saturated with different states – colourful and life-affirming. The viewer has the opportunity to read the metamorphoses of the landscapes, depending on his mood and attitude, and becomes a co-author travelling through the visual world of Virginia Pencheva.
The artist’s paintings will be on display in the gallery until 16 of October.
About the author:VIRGINIA PENCHEVA was born in Ruse. She has a degree in painting from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Veliko Tarnovo. She has been actively involved in the artistic life of Ruse and the country since 1980. She has participated in numerous regional, group, national and international exhibitions, plein airs and symposiums – Bulgaria, China, Poland, Greece, North Macedonia, etc. She works in the field of Painting. Since 1990 she has taken part in projects and exhibitions that focus on unconventional forms of art – contemporary art festivals – “Process – Space”, “Ecoart”, “Lomeya”, etc.
